German Ambassador to India Encourages Indian Students to take Admission in Germany
German Ambassador to India, Dr. Philipp Ackermann, Thursday said Germany is planning to increase the number of Indian students studying in Germany and encouraged Indian students to primarily consider state-owned and state-run universities.
Speaking to ANI, he said, "We have 50,000 Indian students in Germany, which is the largest non-German group at German universities, and we want to increase this number, specifically in the top universities."
He further added, "Our experience with Indian students has been excellent. We have found them to be an ambitious, industrious, and very courageous group of people who really succeed or will succeed after graduation, with opportunities to secure jobs as well."
He also mentioned, "University fees are very low now. I would encourage every student in India to first and foremost look at the state-owned and state-run universities in Germany to see if they offer courses that interest them."
