Lucknow, Nov 1 (PTI): The weather remained dry in Uttar Pradesh, with day temperatures rising in several districts of the state. On Wednesday, Banda was recorded as the hottest place in the state at 35.4 degrees Celsius.

The day temperatures were normal in Varanasi and Allahabad divisions. According to a forecast by the MeT Department here, the weather is most likely to remain dry over the state on November 2.
