The beginning of each month often brings changes that directly affect the common man’s pocket. LPG cylinder prices are among those that change on the 1st of every month—either increasing, decreasing, or remaining unchanged. On July 1, 2025, a revision has again been made in LPG prices. Today, a price cut of up to 60 rupees has been announced, offering some relief to consumers. However, this reduction applies only to 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders, not domestic ones.

This time, the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder remains unchanged. Oil marketing companies have revised only the prices of commercial LPG cylinders.

From today, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has been reduced by 58.50 rupees.
The revised prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders in major cities are as follows: In Delhi, the new price is 1665 rupees, down from 1723.50 rupees. In Kolkata, the price has been reduced to 1769 rupees from the earlier 1826 rupees. In Mumbai, the new price is 1616.50 rupees, while in Chennai, it stands at 1823.50 rupees.

This marks the fourth consecutive month of price cuts for commercial LPG cylinders, with prices consistently decreasing since April. In June, the prices dropped by 24 rupees; in May, the reduction was 14.50 rupees; and in April, the prices were slashed by 41 rupees.

Cylender Price in Chandigarh: According to Good Returns, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Chandigarh currently stands at Rs 862.50. The price has remained unchanged since April 2025. Over the past 12 months, the overall trend shows a single major increase of Rs 50, which occurred in April 2025. There have been no further changes in the LPG price since then.
