Who is Sheetal aka Simmi Chaudhary from Haryana who was found murdered?
Who is Sheetal aka Simmi Chaudhary? Sheetal, also known as Simmi Chaudhary, was a 23-year-old woman from Panipat, Haryana, and a model who had featured in multiple music videos.
She was staying with her sister Neha in Khalila Majra. According to her sister, the deceased had been working in the music industry for about six months.
Earlier, she had worked at Hotel Sukoon in Model Town, Karnal. The hotel was owned by a man identified as Sunil from Israna.
Sunil had expressed his intention to marry her. However, Sheetal later discovered that he was already married and had two children. Following this revelation, she quit working at the hotel, but Sunil continued to pursue her.
On June 14 according to her sister, Sheetal was assaulted by Sunil while she was at a shooting location in Ahar village. That night, Sheetal made a video call to her sister, informing her that she was leaving work and heading home. She also mentioned that Sunil had arrived at the shoot location, assaulted her, hit her on the neck, and was trying to force her to come with him.
After telling her sister she would be home soon, the connection was lost, and no one heard from her afterward.

Later on Sunday her body was recovered from a canal, bringing the case to light.
The body was found in a water canal in the Kharkhoda area of Sonipat district. Haryana. Her throat had been slit, and she was identified through tattoos on her hands and chest.
Her sister had filed a missing person report on Sunday.
The matter is currently under investigation.
