Punjab Government on Monday announced summer vacations in Punjab Schools from May 21.

Chandigarh School Summer Vacation Holidays News: Soon after the news of the Punjab Government declaring summer vacation holidays in all schools of the state from May 21, 2024, the students in Chandigarh were wondering if the administration is going to declare holidays in the city as well or not. 

WELL, CHANDIGARH DECLARES SCHOOL SUMMER VACATION HOLIDAYS

It is pertinent to mention that the Punjab Government on Monday announced summer vacations in Punjab Schools from May 21 in view of the severe heatwaves. 

Earlier, the Punjab Government had announced a revision in the timings of schools due to the scorching heatwave as a proactive measure to ensure the safety and well-being of students. As per the order, the schools for students in Punjab were to be opened from 7 am to 12 noon from May 20th to 31st. 

However, the heatwave is turning out to be severe and hence, the Punjab Government declared summer vacation in the whole of Punjab from May 21, 2024. 

Likewise, the students of Chandigarh schools are wondering if the administration is going to declare holidays in the city as well or not. 

As of filing this story, there has been no information if the Chandigarh administration is going to declare holidays in the city but they have changed the timings of the schools for now.
