National Youth Awardee allegedly beaten by four policemen at Hallomajra police station latest news: The National Youth Awardee Rohit Kumar was allegedly beaten severely by four policemen at the Hallomajra police station in Chandigarh. Kumar sustained a fractured thumb, swelling on his head and face, and severe pain in his spinal cord.
According to the report, the incident occurred when Kumar, along with his friend Gobind, went to the police station to assist two acquaintances who had filed a complaint against their father for physical abuse. Kumar alleges that despite informing the police about his broken spinal cord, they continued to beat him in the same area. He has filed a complaint with SSP Kanwardeep Kaur seeking justice.

Instead of taking action, the police allegedly started slapping the girls. When Rohit and Gobind urged the police to treat the girls with humanity, the police allegedly began beating them.
A statement from ASI Seva Singh claims Rohit tore the uniform and engaged in physical altercation. Rohit was discharged from GMCH-32 after treatment.
