According to the notification:

Classes up to VIII

    •    Physical classes are suspended for students up to Class VIII.

    •    Schools are encouraged to conduct online classes starting from 9:00 AM.

    •    Staff timings are to be adjusted accordingly to facilitate online learning.

Classes IX to XII

    •    Schools may operate for these classes but must not commence before 9:30 AM and must conclude by 3:30 PM.

    •    For students appearing for pre-board examinations, schools may open at 9:00 AM if necessary.

    •    Staff timings will be regulated to accommodate these changes.

The decision prioritizes student safety amid challenging weather conditions, while also ensuring minimal disruption to academic schedules, particularly for students preparing for pre-board exams.
