Haryana Energy Minister Anil Vij Conducts Surprise Inspection at UHBVNL in Rohtak latest news : Chandigarh, February 02, 2025 - Haryana Energy Minister Anil Vij made an unexpected visit to the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVNL) grievance redressal cell in Rohtak today to ensure consumer complaints are being effectively addressed. He scrutinized the process of handling complaints and instructed the officers to resolve all issues within the designated timeframe.

During his visit, Minister Vij personally spoke with consumers over the phone in the presence of officers to verify the resolution of their complaints. Upon discovering that a complaint remained unresolved for over 24 hours, he directed the Superintending Engineer (SE) to investigate the matter and take action against the responsible staff.

He also directed the SE to review any complaints not resolved within four hours, seek explanations from the concerned staff, and submit a report to him. Additionally, Minister Vij instructed the officers to ensure that electricity poles are not installed in inconvenient places such as drains, sewers, or roads. Any poles found in such locations must be relocated immediately to avoid causing inconvenience to consumers.

Minister Vij's proactive approach has resonated positively with the community, who appreciated his dedication to improving public services and ensuring accountability.
