At the same time, Uber has introduced a number of other rules for the safety of passengers and drivers.
Uber Uber Global Senior Director (Safety Product Management) Sachin Kansal said on Monday that while logging into the app, the driver has to wear a face mask and put his photo in the app to be able to log in to the app.
The driver must confirm that he is wearing a mask and has no corona symptoms. He will sanitize the vehicle after each trip and keep his hands clean. If the driver does not follow these rules, he will be removed from the app.
