PhotoThe company is offering a new grace period to Jio prepaid customers. Under this offer, users will be able to avail the benefit of free calling for 24 hours after the expiry of the plan. However, the company has not yet given any official information about the scheme.
OnlyTech has seen this new grace period offer before. Based on the report, one user’s Jio recharge plan of Rs 98 had expired after which the 24-hour grace plan with unlimited calls to Jio users was activated.
Users can view this plan in the My Jio app. Last month Jio had extended free incoming calls for prepaid users due to Covid-19.
PhotoEven after the end of the plan in this offer, users are getting free incoming calls during lockdown. However, other telecom operators Airtel, Vodafone-Idea and BSNL have also offered free incoming calls to their customers during lockdown.
Recently, Jio has introduced a new function from the offers in which users are being offered 2 GB of data per day. The feature of this plan is that it has been presented as a long term plan.
In this plan, users are offered a validity of 365 days. The cost of the scheme is Rs 2,399. Under this plan, users are being offered unlimited voice calling on Jio Network.
However, users are being offered 12,000 minutes to make calls to other networks. In addition, a new data add-on pack has been introduced for the users.
