New Delhi: Google has deleted 'Remove China Apps', which went viral in India, from the Play Store. However, no reason has been given for the deletion.

PhotoPhotoThe app, which deletes all Chinese apps from the phone, was well-liked by Indian users and has been downloaded by 1 million people in just 10 days. This app has been developed by OneTouch AppLabs, a firm based in Jaipur.

People downloaded the app to boycott Chinese apps and products in India. With this app, the Chinese apps in the smartphone can be scanned and deleted.

PhotoPhotoThe app states that Chinese apps are not safe for users and that such apps can be scanned and selected and uninstalled from the phone. Developer OneTouch AppLabs tweeted the news late Tuesday night.

The tweet read, 'Dear friends, Google have suspended RemoveChinaApps from the Google Play Store. Thanks for the great response in 2 weeks.

At the same time, the Tik Tok rival Mitron app has also been deleted from the Google Play Store. This app has been gaining popularity very fast for the last few days but there is still a debate whether this app belongs to India or not.
