Bihar Vote Counting Updates: As early trends show the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leading in the Bihar vote counting, the BJP is currently ahead on 92 seats and the JD(U) on 81 seats, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI) and RJD on 26.
Taking a jibe at Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel hinting at the alleged irregularities in the electoral process, claimed that Kumar “made all the efforts alone.”

Former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Katihar, Tarkishore Prasad, told ANI that the NDA’s lead crossing the 200-seat mark in the vote counting reflects the work the alliance has done.
"We went to the polls under the capable leadership of Nitish Kumar. Under the leadership of the CM and the guidance of the PM, we have continuously transformed Bihar. We brought schemes for the welfare of every section of Bihar. So, it is natural that it was reflected in the voting. It is not unnatural. We had set a target of 225 seats, going by the trends, I think more number of seats can be added to our victory tally..."Tarkishore Prasad told ANI
