Gippy Grewal on Mahindra Scorpio N Latest News: Popular Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal has raised serious concerns about his recent experience with Mahindra & Mahindra, specifically regarding the Mahindra Scorpio-N SUVs he purchased late last year. In a candid letter addressed to Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, Grewal described his ordeal as “extremely disappointing,” pointing to recurring technical faults and unsatisfactory service at the Raj Vehicles dealership in Mohali.
Grewal acquired two Scorpio-N SUVs in December 2024 as gifts for his team, but the excitement soon gave way to frustration as both vehicles started showing defects almost immediately.
As per Gippy Grewal, both SUVs reportedly faced multiple electronic glitches from their very first use. One vehicle experienced blinking LED lights, disconnections in the infotainment system, and intermittent digital dashboard failures. The other faced similar electronic troubles alongside a structural defect—a noticeable gap in the boot compartment—suggesting a manufacturing flaw.
Grewal’s complaints were further compounded by what he described as “rude, arrogant, and dismissive” behavior from the dealership staff at Raj Vehicles. The letter alleges that staff members, including key figures like Rajesh Sharma and CEO Rajeev Sharma, responded to his concerns with unhelpful and disrespectful remarks, refusing even to provide proper service visit records, which raised serious questions about transparency.
In closing, Gippy Grewal appealed personally to the Mahindra Group Chairman, wherein he said, “Having bought two Scorpio-Ns as a token of appreciation for my team, I am facing ongoing technical issues coupled with disappointing service at the dealership. I urge immediate intervention and a thorough investigation into Raj Vehicles, Mohali.”
He requested a comprehensive technical inspection conducted by authorized Mahindra experts and a formal inquiry into the conduct of the dealership staff involved. Also he asked for a clarification and rectification regarding the refusal to share service documentation.
