As the entire nation celebrates the Indian Women’s Cricket Team’s historic World Cup victory, pacer Renuka Thakur’s mother in Himachal Pradesh sent out a heartfelt message to parents, urging them not to hold their daughters back when they wish to move forward.
Indian cricket star Renuka Thakur’s mother, Sunita, congratulated everyone on the country’s first-ever Women’s World Cup win.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, earlier today, while addressing a rally in Bihar, hailed the women’s cricket stars for their victory and called it a symbol of India's daughters' "newfound confidence.”
