Farmers Protest 2024, Haryana Police Official Death News: In a shocking development, a 52-year-old Haryana Sub-Inspector Hiralal, posted at the Shambhu border amidst farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' march, dies on Saturday morning.

The sources revealed that the health of Sub-Inspector Hiralal deteriorated while on duty at the Shambhu border on Friday. After this, he was immediately taken to Ambala Civil Hospital. However, he could not be saved.

Haryana DGP Shatrujeet Kapur said, "Sub-Inspector Hiralal always performed his duties with utmost devotion. His death is a great loss to the police force."

It is pertinent to mention that the protesting farmers have been camping at the Punjab and Haryana border points. The protest has entered Day 5 today. The farmers are trying to enter the national capital.

Meanwhile, the Haryana police have blocked the roads and ever fired tear gas and resorted to water cannons to disperse the protesting farmers who were trying to march towards the national capital. During this, hundreds of farmers and several journalists got injured.

In the meanwhile, a third round of talks with the central government ended in a stalemate on Thursday. Now, the next round of meeting is scheduled to be held on Sunday.
