Police Refutes Claims Related to Threats to Shehnaaz Gill's Father

The police have declared his claims

Shehnaaz Gill Father Santokh Singh Threat News: The police have countered the allegations made by Santokh Singh Gill, the father of Shehnaaz Gill, regarding threatening phone calls and demands for payment. In a video shared on social media, Santokh Singh asserted that he had received a threat from a foreign number, demanding a sum of Rs 50 lakh as a ransom. Allegedly, the caller warned of harm to both Santokh Singh and his daughter Shehnaaz if the demanded money was not paid.

However, the police have refuted these claims, stating that they have found no evidence to support Santokh Singh's claims. They assert that Santokh Singh has a history of misusing police protection and has been involved in criminal cases in the past. Moreover, they highlight that he previously received police protection due to his position as the president of an organization, but he capitalize on this privilege for personal reasons.

Opposite to Santokh Singh's allegations, the police maintain that there is no substance to his claims of receiving threats from a foreign number. They dismiss his assertions as an attempt to manipulate the situation and gain police protection through deceitful means.

Santokh Singh had alleged that the caller identified themselves as being from Pakistan and threatened violence against him and his daughter. It was also said that the person who threatened them that they will also be shot in the same way. Santokh Singh said that he has demanded justice from the police many times, but he is not heard. But now the police have declared his claims false.
