2,280 kids reunited with parents

Chandigarh: The Haryana Police have achieved success in reuniting 2,280 missing children with their parents under ‘Operation Muskan-III’ from July 1 to 31. During the drive, 2,634 missing children were traced.

Chandigarh: The Haryana Police have achieved success in reuniting 2,280 missing children with their parents under ‘Operation Muskan-III’ from July 1 to 31. During the drive, 2,634 missing children were traced.

BS Sandhu, DGP, said among the traced children, 2,270 were boys and 364 were girls. A total of 354 children were sent to a shelter home or children home of the district concerned for their security and appropriate care due to non-availability of any information regarding their parents. He said the drive to reunite the missing children with their parents was conducted by the Haryana Police with the support of Women and Child Development Department, Labour Department, Child Welfare Council, and NGOs.
