Actor Dhanush and Actress Mrunal Rumoured to Be Dating, Dhanush on Mrunal’s Guest List for Son of Sardaar 2
Dhanush & Mrunal Rumoured to be Dating Latest News: Actor Dhanush and actress Mrunal Thakur are rumoured to be dating. The rumoured couple was recently seen at the premiere of Mrunal’s latest release, Son of Sardaar 2, News18 reported.
According to the report, Mrunal's earlier presence at the wrap party of Dhanush’s upcoming Hindi film, Tere Ishq Mein, also led fans to speculate about their relationship.
A source told News18, “Yes, it’s true that they are dating. But it’s very new, and they have no plans to make their relationship official in front of the public or media. At the same time, they’re unfazed about going out together and being spotted. Friends are truly rooting for them as they’re quite similar and compatible when it comes to their values, choices, and thoughts."
As per the source cited in the report, the success of Sita Ramam opened doors for Mrunal in the South Indian film industry.
She has also been actively working in Mumbai. “Mrunal, who is currently shooting for Dacoit: A Love Story with Adivi Sesh, keeps shuttling between Mumbai and Hyderabad, and it was during an event down south that she met Dhanush,” the source added.
The source further told the outlet that Mrunal and Dhanush’s growing closeness caught the attention of onlookers in June during the premiere of Kajol’s last theatrical release, Maa.
Moreover, Dhanush being on Mrunal’s guest list at the premiere of Son of Sardaar 2 further fuelled the speculations.
Dhanush was married to actor Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, for 18 years. They announced their separation in 2018 and officially filed for divorce in April 2024. They were legally granted separation in November the same year.
The ex-couple shares two sons, Yatra and Linga.
