Chal Mera Putt 4 Release Date in India Cancelled Just Like Diljit Dosanjh Sardaar Ji 3 Latest News: In a major blow to the Punjabi film industry's cross-border collaborations, the upcoming film Chal Mera Putt 4, featuring Amrinder Gill, has been denied permission to release in India.

Diljit Dosanjh-led Sardaar Ji 3 also faced a similar decision, which reflects growing tensions surrounding the inclusion of Pakistani artists in Indian film projects.

Chal Mera Putt 4 is a part of a very successful series that is prominently known for its heartwarming portrayal of immigrant life. It showcases cross-cultural friendships and also features prominent Pakistani comedians Iftikhar Thakur, Akram Udaas, and Nasir Chinyoti. 

However, Iftikhar Thakur is the one who is to be blamed, as during the heightened India-Pakistan tensions in May, Thakur was the one who made provocative comments. He said, "If you'll come by air, you'll be bombed; if you'll come by sea, you'll be drowned; and if you'll come by ground, you'll be buried under."

His remarks were seen not just as aggressive but were deeply disrespectful towards the country. In another statement, Iftikhar Thakur claimed that Indian cinema cannot thrive without the participation of Pakistani talent. He said, "Indian films, including Punjabi ones, won’t work successfully without our involvement.”

Government sources have not issued a formal statement, but it is understood that the denial of permission is rooted in concerns about the national sentiment and public backlash. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) reportedly did not proceed with certification due to these issues.
