Dosanjh opened up about his pride in his Punjabi heritage, emphasizing the influence of his first language on his life.

Diljit Dosanjh News: During an unforgettable two-day performance in Delhi this weekend, acclaimed Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh kicked off his much-anticipated Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024. Returning to Indian soil after captivating audiences across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, Dosanjh wowed fans at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where thousands gathered to witness his performance.

The high turnout led to significant traffic slowdowns in central Delhi, including on Lodhi Road. Ensuring crowd safety, authorities stationed over 3,000 police personnel around the venue, many in plain clothes and with extensive CCTV monitoring.

On stage, Dosanjh opened up about his pride in his Punjabi heritage, emphasizing the influence of his first language on his life. "My mother spoke Punjabi when I was born," he shared, "and the first letter I learned was in Punjabi. Our country has a wealth of languages, each deserving respect, but I speak Punjabi because of my mother." His heartfelt reflection was met with cheers from fans, underscoring the pride many share for their cultural roots.

The Dil-Luminati Tour, beginning in Delhi, brings Dosanjh’s unmatched energy and cultural pride to fans across India. The tour will continue to more cities, inviting audiences to celebrate his dedication to Punjabi heritage and his vibrant musical performances.
