"Salman Khan Talks About Death Threats In The Wake Of Blackbuck Poaching Scandal" latest news: Bollywood legend Salman Khan recently came out against death threats that have been coming from the Bishnoi gang. The gang is reported to have demanded Rs 5 crore from the actor in order to "put an end to the animosity" with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi or else. This threat comes on the heels of the senseless murder of ex-Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique by the same gang, reportedly.
Salman Khan, speaking at a media conference, stated that he believed in God and fate and added, "Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai." He further stated that life under the watchful eyes of security all the time had immensely affected his lifestyle.
The threats are said to be related to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, while shooting for "Hum Saath-Saath Hain." Salman Khan was charged with having killed the blackbuck, a protected animal venerated by the Bishnoi community. His co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, and Neelam Kothari were acquitted, but Salman had to face legal battles for more than two decades in prison, including arrests, convictions, and follow-up bails.
Coming to the defense of his son, veteran writer Salim Khan asserted that Salman has no fondness for hunting animals and loves them very much. He strongly believes in his son's innocence, claiming that Salman had no involvement in the poaching incident.
The actor still has increased security arrangements as threats persist, but his professional engagements are unchanged. Salman Khan's strength and belief in the midst of adversity have received support from well-wishers and fans everywhere.
