“I want to clarify that all such videos are fake and created using AI,” Akshay Kumar said in a post on X on Tuesday.
“What’s worse, some news channels decide to pick these up as ‘news’ without even verifying if they are real or morphed,” his post read.
Expressing his concerns over the fast-paced spread of misleading content, Akshay requested media houses to verify information before publishing anything.
“In today’s time, when misleading content is being produced at great speed through manipulative AI, I sincerely request media houses to verify and report only after authenticating the information,” the post read.
A fan reacting to the post said, “Akshay ji releases so many films in a year that if anything is linked with him, it starts feeling true.”
