Raj Kundra on Saturday requested bail arguing with the authority that the investigation is over and a charge sheet has been filled.

Mumbai: Today, Actor 'Shilpa Shettys husband Raj Kundra has been granted bail by a Mumbai court two months after his arrest over allegations of shooting and streaming porn. He has also been ordered to pay Rs 50,000 surety for his release.

Raj Kundra on Saturday requested bail arguing with the authority that the investigation is over and a charge sheet has been filled. Last Thursday, the Mumbai police had filed a 1,400-page charge sheet in court listing charges against the businessman, who has been married to Shilpa Shetty since 2009.

The businessman got arrested on July 19, said in his bail plea that he has falsely implicated and dragged into the case. The bail request has reportedly also stated that he was making a "scapegoat" and there was no evidence of it in the charge sheet. He was not involved in shooting "alleged questionable content" and streaming it through mobile apps.

The charge sheet said Raj Kundra was the "main facilitator" and, along with other accused. They were the exploited young women who were struggling in the film industry.
