The original proposal for performing the concert in Panchkula collapsed because of a failure to clear the venue.

Yo Yo Honey Singh's Chandigarh Concert: Venue Shifted to Sector 25 Rally Ground latest news:  Rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has made an announcement regarding a venue change for his next concert in Chandigarh, which will now be held on March 23 at the Sector 25 Rally Ground. Posting the news on Instagram, he shared a photo captioned, "Chandigarh venue has been changed! It will be a new spot!! See you all in Chandigarh"

The original proposal for performing the concert in Panchkula collapsed because of a failure to clear the venue. Honey Singh's team tried to get in touch with Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Monika Gupta and Police Deputy Commissioner Himadri Kaushik in an attempt to get clarification but they remained silent on the reasons for rejection.

To the already existing problems, the recent moves by the UT Estate Office to drastically increase the booking rates for rally grounds in Sector 25 and Sector 34 have added to the woes. For major events with an audience of more than 5,000, the day's booking rate has gone from ₹30,000 to a staggering ₹5,00,000. Small-scale events with fewer than 5,000 spectators will remain at ₹30,000 for each day.

This is a change that follows last year's complaints from residents in the vicinity of Sector 34, who complained of noise and traffic jams during concerts by Diljit Dosanjh and Karan Aujla. In a bid to address such issues, the UT administration opted to restrict large gatherings at that venue. The same scenario resulted in the concert of singer AP Dhillon being shifted to the Sector 25 Rally Ground.

Honey Singh's followers now wait with bated breath for the next performance at its new venue, looking forward to a night of music and energy despite the organizational challenges.
