Purav Jha Bigg Boss 19? – Purav Jha, an impressionist, content creator, social media star, and influencer with over 6 million followers on Instagram and nearly 5 million subscribers on YouTube, was recently awarded the title of "Viral King of the Year."
Best known for his humorous and entertaining videos, Purav has carved a niche by imitating celebrities, actors, and influencers from across the globe. His latest impression features Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as "The Rebel Kid," who is celebrated for her bold statements, upfront nature, and quick-witted replies.
Fans have been creating edits of the two ever since they appeared together on Karan Johar’s reality show Traitors India Season 1. However, both have clarified in multiple interviews that there is nothing romantic between them. In fact, Purav has stated that he is already in a relationship.
On the show, Purav was one of the three traitors, while Apoorva was among the innocents. Though neither of them won the game, they were widely praised for their screen presence and entertaining contributions.
Purav has become widely recognized for his spot-on impersonations, having mimicked a range of popular figures, including, Darren Jason Watkins Jr. a.k.a. IShowSpeed, Aamir Khan's character from PK, Dolly Chaiwala, Orry (Orhan Awatramani), Yo Yo Honey Singh, Bear Grylls from Man vs. Wild and more.
Born on August 11, 2001, in Delhi, Purav is 23 years old and originally hails from Bihar. His father is a teacher, and his mother is a homemaker, according to a report by Latestly.
In one of his recent Instagram advertisement, Purav parodied Sunny Deol’s iconic dialogue from Damini, “Yeh dhai kilo ka haath jab kisi pe padta hai na, toh aadmi uthta nahi... uth jaata hai!”
Purav's version: “Oye, yeh daiso gram ka haath jab tere muh pe lagega, tereko hosh nahi rahega. Samjha kya tu? Tu mere se la...”
He was also seen in a music album alongside popular TV actress Niti Taylor Bawa, marking his entry into mainstream entertainment.
Purav maintains an active presence on X (formerly Twitter), where he recently posted, “America kya kehta tha... kya ho tum? Aaj hum China ki taraf se kehte hain… tu kya hai be...”
Purav Jha Bigg Boss 19?
Speculations are rife that Purav Jha might be among the contestants of the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 19. However, neither Purav nor the show's makers have confirmed the news so far. According to The Indian Express, Bigg Boss Season 19 is expected to go live on the last weekend of August – i.e., 29th or 30th August.
Until the official contestant list is revealed, fans will have to wait and watch.
