Akshay Kumar gets first hand review from fans latest news: Mumbai, June 9 – Actor Akshay Kumar surprised fans on Sunday when he shared a quirky video on his Instagram handle, where he was seen standing outside a theatre in Bandra, Mumbai, getting first-hand reviews from the audience coming out after watching his latest film, ‘Housefull 5’.
The film, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, released in theatres on Friday and stars a massive ensemble including Akshay Kumar, Nargis Fakhri, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, and Sonam Bajwa.
Sharing the video, Akshay wrote, “Bas yun hi I decided to wear the killer mask and interview people coming out of the Housefull 5 show at Bandra today. Pakda jaane wala thaa end mein but bhaag gaya us se pehle. Mast experience.”
In the video, Akshay is seen wearing a silver, robotic-looking mask that concealed his identity. His voice also sounded slightly altered, most likely due to the mask. He wasn’t alone—several others wearing similar masks were seen with him.
Towards the end of the clip, a woman on a scooty seemed to recognize Akshay, recording him with a big smile, while another appeared to have nearly figured out who he was.
Fans flooded the comments section with reactions. One commented, “No cut in the video, fair public review.” Another wrote, “Ak sir can do this.” A fan jokingly asked, “Humare time ku na aate ho paaji?”
‘Housefull 5’, the fifth installment in the successful franchise, has already collected ₹55 crore net in India and ₹87 crore worldwide within two days of its release.
Apart from the core cast, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer, and Johnny Lever.
