The fabricated clip, shared by a suspicious Instagram page, depicted a woman harnessed to a cable before being dropped from a great height, similar to a bungee jump. The post falsely alleged:

Additionally, the video itself displayed misleading text claiming:
“Famous Bollywood artist Nora Fatehi accidental death (sic).”

Interestingly, just days before the hoax surfaced, Nora Fatehi faced a real-life emergency when she and her team were evacuated from a Los Angeles hotel due to a raging wildfire.
Sharing her experience in a video, she said:
“I have never seen anything like this. It’s insane! We just got an evacuation order five minutes ago, so I quickly packed my things and left. I plan to head near the airport and wait there because I have a flight today, and I really hope I can catch it.”
