Golden Boy Neeraj Chopra on Paris Olympics 2024: Neeraj Chopra is one of India's favourite sportsmen. He is the Olympic champion in the javelin throw who won the Gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Recently, he discussed his adductor muscle injury that sidelined him for much of the season, the pressure of being a top competitor, his habit of self-talk between throws, and much more.
Now, he is set for the Paris Olympics 2024. He is indeed under pressure as he has to defend the title of the Olympics Gold Medal. He needs to throw the Javelin with 'Hosh and Josh'.
Neeraj Chopra is morphing into a very familiar, lean, and hungry avatar as he bids to defend his title in the men's Javelin throw at the Paris Olympics 2024.
"I like being in Gloria. I have a painting of hurdlers, tennis players, and gymnasts in my room, and there is even a picture of Andreas Thorkildsen (the 2004 and 2008 Olympic champion in the men’s javelin). Right outside my window is the athletics track and throwing area. This is the best view for an athlete," he said.
