New Zealand’s Top Wicket-Taker Uncertain for ICC Trophy Final vs India latest news:  New Zealand’s leading wicket-taker, Matt Henry, may miss the final match against India due to an injury. The pacer sustained the injury while playing in the semi-final against South Africa on Wednesday in Lahore.

Expressing uncertainty about Henry’s availability, Stead added, “We’ve had some scans and tests done on him, and we’re going to give him every chance to play in this match. It’s still a little bit unknown at this stage.”

Matt Henry is a key fast bowler for New Zealand, known for his ability to swing the ball at high speeds. He has been a major threat to Indian batters in various formats, particularly in ICC tournaments.

In the 2019 World Cup semi-final, Henry played a crucial role in New Zealand’s victory over India, taking three wickets, including the dismissals of key players Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. His possible absence in the final could be a relief for India, as he is one of New Zealand’s top pacers.
