The trio of Ankita Bhakat, Simranjit Kaur, and Bhajan Kaur secured the bronze medal by defeating Vietnam in an exciting match. The Indian archers, seeded fifth, displayed exceptional skills, outperforming Vietnam's team with a score of 6-2 (56-52, 55-56, 57-50, 51-48) in the bronze medal match.
On the other sporting front, India's cricket team demonstrated their prowess by storming into the men's cricket final at the Asian Games. In the semi-final against Bangladesh, Indian captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and opted to field first.
