FIFA World Cup 2022 Winning captain Lionel Messi has decided to give a special gift to his champion team Argentina. Messi ordered 35 gold iPhones for his team members and support staff. These iPhones are completely personalized. According to media reports, the iPhones were delivered to  Argentina captain at his apartment in Paris on Saturday.

Notably, Argentina won the FIFA World Cup last year under the captaincy of Lionel Messi. The victory was very emotional for Messi, as he had waited more than two decades for it. In fact, it was the first time in 20 years that a non-European team won the World Cup.

According to the report of 'The Sun', the price of the iPhone is 175,000 pounds (about 1.73 crore rupees). The report quoted a source as saying, "Lionel wanted to do something to celebrate his proudest moment, but didn't want a simple gift like a watch. For this, he connected with entrepreneur Ben Lyon and thought of the idea."

Reports state that each iPhone has the name of each player, Jersey number and the Argentina logo. All iPhones also have World Champion written on them. This phone is designed by iDesign. The CEO of iDesign lauded Messi and said that they are one of the best customers.
