Recent tragedies in Canada have left the Punjabi Community Mourning

AMLOH: Canada has been witnessing a series of unfortunate deaths among Punjabi youth, adding to the grief-stricken families and communities. The latest heartbreaking news reveals the loss of two Punjabi youths in Canada, casting a shadow of sorrow and disbelief.

One of the young men hailed from Salani village in Amloh and tragically passed away due to a heart attack. The deceased, identified as Harpreet Singh (31), had recently embarked on his journey to Canada on June 22nd of this year after successfully completing his PhD. He was residing in Alberta, where he was joined by his younger brother, Lovepreet Singh. Harpreet's untimely demise left his family shattered, particularly since he had tied the knot only a year and a half ago.

Harpreet's father, Balbir Singh, shared the heart-wrenching news and recounted his son's journey to Canada with great hope and aspirations for a better future. 

In another unfortunate incident, Surinder Singh Gill, a resident of Kakrala Bhaika village in Samana, also met an untimely fate in Canada. The young man had ventured to Canada for educational pursuits last year. The exact cause of his passing is yet to be determined, further adding to the anguish of his family and the local community.
