Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant Wedding in Mumbai: Recently, India witnessed a multi-billion wedding of India's richest family wherein prominent personalities from across the world were invited. Although there were several millionaires and billionaires present on the spot, this time every Indian was also invited to join this wedding sitting at home through social media. From wedding cards to farewells, every Indian watched it. This marriage started six months ago and it doesn't seem like it is going to end as now the post-wedding preparations have started in London. Seeing this marriage, some questions are raised once again, which have been raised many times before, because of the way wealth is being shown, compassion for the poor has never been shown by the rich population of India.
Aziz Prem and Ratan Tata are also among those who have earned wealth but have also used it to uplift society. This wealth is their self-earned, personal wealth, but this wealth has indeed been earned by them from the Indian society.
It has been a long time since our country became independent. However, poverty and hunger have not yet disappeared from our society. The same goes for rick kits. The hunger to show off and the urge to show that they have risen from poverty and become rich. Newly acquired wealth is more ostentatious.
Why does it become necessary for rich and powerful people to show off when they reach a big or high position? For them, the thought of showing the sympathy that resides in the depths of their hearts does not arise in society. It is important to discuss this because unless this sympathy is reflected in their hearts, through their money, the proper development of India will not be possible.
In a capitalist society, with the facilities that an entrepreneur gets, it also becomes his responsibility to put a part of his profit back into the society so that the society remains profitable. We will not ask them to do social service or donate their money. Their contribution to the fundamental thinking that lifts the capitalist society is to invest their money back into the society, which creates more jobs and more money so that the society keeps the wheel rolling.
The comfort that our rich class is still getting is not the correct definition of capitalism. We hope that in the near future, the lust and greed in the minds of our industrialists will calm down and they will be able to mobilize the ability to fulfill their responsibilities.
