
A powerful tycoon hits Hong Kong leaving flooded street, shattered windows and hundreds of flights in its wake here on Wednesday.
All the schools and offices have been closed as Typhoon came within 60 kilometers (37 miles) of Hong Kong. The Typhoon was later headed towards the western side of mainland China’s Pearl River Delta.
A weather forecast official has raised the hurricane signal as No. 10, the highest level, for the first time in five years. Earlier, it was been raised last in 2012.
