Bus service between Nepal's Rolpa and New Delhi begins

Kathmandu: A direct once a week bus service was today commenced between Rolpa district in Nepal and Indian capital New Delhi, a media report said.

The Delhi-bound bus will travel via Liwang in Rolpa, Pyuthan, Bhaluwang and Nepalgunj, the Himalayan Times reported.   The bus will leave from Liwang, some 280 km west of Kathmandu, on Wednesdays. 

In return journey, the bus would start from New Delhi on Fridays, it said. The service has been initiated by the Rolpa Transport Private Limited, the report said.

The company has also initiated online tickets for the bus service for the first time in the district, according to the report. PTI
