Amritsar, 29 December 2025- Royal Columbian Hospital celebrated a milestone in community philanthropy with the grand unveiling of the Crystal Consulting Inc. Emergency Waiting Room, made possible by a $500,000 donation from Kuldeep Chohan and Gurpreet (Garry) Sangha, principals of Crystal Consulting Inc., through the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation.

The newly named Emergency Waiting Room stands as a lasting symbol of generosity and service, recognizing the donors’ commitment to strengthening frontline healthcare at one of the region’s most vital medical institutions. The space serves thousands of patients and families each year and plays a critical role in shaping the first experience of care for those arriving at the hospital in urgent need.

Hospital leadership, Foundation representatives, and community members gathered for the unveiling ceremony to acknowledge the importance of supporting emergency services—often the first and most emotionally charged point of contact within the healthcare system. Royal Columbian Hospital operates one of the busiest emergency departments in British Columbia, providing essential care to a diverse and rapidly growing population across the Fraser region.

The Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation emphasized that the Emergency Waiting Room is more than a physical space; it is a place of reassurance, dignity, and compassion during moments of crisis. Naming the room after Crystal Consulting Inc. reflects both the significance of the $500,000 gift and the values of empathy and community stewardship demonstrated by the donors.

The contribution also aligns with the Foundation’s broader mission to advance inclusive, community-focused healthcare and long-term hospital sustainability. Leaders noted that philanthropic partnerships with community-minded organizations are essential to enhancing patient experience and supporting the evolving needs of public healthcare.

With the unveiling complete, the Crystal Consulting Inc. Emergency Waiting Room now stands as a visible and enduring reminder of how generosity and collaboration can strengthen care where it matters most.
