10-Year-Old Prodigy from Jammu Conquers 3,776-Meter High Summit, Making India Proud

In a remarkable feat, 10-year-old Rihana Sambial, a first-class student from Jammu, has achieved an extraordinary milestone by conquering the renowned Mount Fuji in Japan. Rihana's triumphant ascent of the majestic 3,776-meter high peak not only brought fame to the region of Jammu and Kashmir but also filled the entire nation with immense pride.

The young mountaineer embarked on her challenging expedition to Japan alongside her father, Dr. Praguna Sambial, last month. Setting her sights on Mount Fuji, Rihana commenced her daring ascent on July 2. The significance of this date was not lost on her family, as it marked exactly 5 years since her elder brother's successful climb of the same iconic mountain.

Rihana's determination and tenacity were evident as she battled the treacherous terrain, enduring harsh weather conditions, and overcoming physical challenges that mountaineers face during such expeditions. With unwavering determination, she pushed herself to the limit to accomplish her ambitious goal.

Accompanied by an Indian tricolor, Rihana Sambial planted the national flag atop Mount Fuji, symbolizing her dedication and love for her country. This patriotic gesture was met with appreciation and admiration not only from fellow climbers but also from admirers back home in India.
