According to the report, two people have been taken into custody, while the gunman is believed to be among the dead.

Bondi Beach Shooting: Extremely disturbing news has emerged from Sydney’s Bondi Beach, where a gunman has killed at least 10 people, local police have confirmed, 9 News reported. 

One of the shooters is reportedly among those killed. In visuals shared by 9News, a person can be seen wrestling with the gunman and snatching what appears to be an AK-47-like rifle.

According to the report, two people have been taken into custody. In total, three gunmen are believed to be involved in the horrific incident. 

At least 16 people have been taken to the hospital following the shooting, 9News said in the report. 

One of the witnesses told 9News that there were thousands of people on the beach enjoying their Sunday when the shooting took place.

In the spine-chilling visuals from the scene, some people injured and some dead are lying on the ground, while others were seen applying CPR on those still alive. 

Some X users are identifying one of the shooters as Naveed Akram; however, there are no official confirmations on the claim yet.

NSW Police Force on ongoing Operation after Bondi Beach Mass Shooting:

Meanwhile, NSW Police Force, in a statement, said that the police operation is ongoing after "a public place shooting by two men at Bondi Beach earlier today. Ten people have been confirmed dead, including a man believed to be one of the shooters. The second alleged shooter is in a critical condition."
