RCMP Classified Report: Lawrence Bishnoi Directing Global Syndicate from Sabarmati Jail
A Classified Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) report, which was recently obtained by Global News, alleges that Lawrence Bishnoi is directing a transnational criminal syndicate from Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat.
The report alleges that Bishnoi oversees extortion, drug trafficking, and murder-for-hire operations across North America and Europe despite being incarcerated since 2015.
The report levels a significant allegation, claiming the Bishnoi gang acts on behalf of the Indian government to target Sikh separatists. It specifically links the network to the 2023 killings of Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Sukhdool Singh in Canada.
According to the document, the syndicate utilises a network of roughly 700 members, including associates like Goldy Brar, to execute these operations.
The RCMP previously claimed on October 15, 2024, that they possessed evidence of criminal activity orchestrated by Indian government agents in coordination with Bishnoi’s network.
While the Indian government has consistently dismissed such claims as "absurd and politically motivated", the emergence of this classified report coincides with a sensitive period as India and Canada prepare to resume trade negotiations.
To date, the Gujarat prison department and the Indian High Commission have not issued a response to these latest allegations.
