Pakistan has repeatedly threatened that any attempt to block the water flow would be considered an "act of war".

India Pakistan Indus Waters Treaty, Shehbaz Sharif, Asim Munir, Latest News Today: In a fresh threat to India, amid fueling speculations of war, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has given the warning to the "enemy" that it would not allow India to snatch “even one drop” of water belonging to his country.

This has come as the fourth threat within a 48-hour period. Earlier, Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir, Bilawal Bhutto, and Khawaja Asif threatened India with war. 

It is pertinent to mention that India took several measures against Pakistan, including the “abeyance” of the 1960s Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) on April 23, a day after the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 innocent lives.

Since then, Pakistan has repeatedly threatened that any attempt to block the water flow would be considered an "act of war".

"I want to tell the enemy today that if you threaten to hold our water, then keep this in mind that you cannot snatch even one drop of Pakistan,” news agency PTI quoted Shehbaz Sharif as saying at a ceremony in Islamabad.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also threatened India that if it attempted such an act, “you will be again taught such a lesson that you will be left holding your ears.”

As of now, India has not given any immediate comment on Shehbaz Sharif's threat.
