Montana, US Plane Crash Latest News: A single-engine small plane, carrying four people, crashed into a parked aircraft while landing at an airport in Montana, United States of America, on Monday, Money Control reported, citing AP.
No serious injuries have been reported; however, two sustained minor injuries. They were treated at the airport.
According to the report, the plane attempted to land at around 2 PM at Kalispell City Airport when the accident occurred. In a major emergency response, rescue crews rushed to the scene.
The airport is located right south of Kalispell, which is home to around 30,000 people in northwest Montana.
According to a preliminary investigation, the pilot lost control, causing the plane to crash onto the runway and then collide with several parked aircraft. The accident caused multiple fires. Dark and thick smoke can be seen emanating from the crash in a video shared online. The fire reportedly spread to a grassy area nearby and was extinguished.
According to witnesses cited in the Money Control report, the plane crash-landed at the end of the runway and crashed into another aircraft.

The FAA has identified the plane as a Socata turboprop, built in 2011 and registered to Meter Sky LLC of Pullman. The investigations into the accident are underway.
