TOKYO: A Magnitude 6.0 earthquake shook the Hokkaido region of Japan, as reported by the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ). Fortunately, no immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received, and no official warnings have been issued at this time.

Meanwhile, Turkey experienced a 5.3 magnitude earthquake in its southern region. Reports from media outlets suggest that multiple buildings sustained damage, resulting in 23 reported injuries. Turkish Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca, shared on social media that injuries were primarily caused by building collapses in Malatya and Adiyaman. Some individuals were forced to jump from buildings during the tremors, further contributing to the injuries. Television broadcasts showcased videos of the damages, painting a vivid picture of the impact.

The Earthquake ripples extended to India's Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where a 4.3 magnitude quake struck Port Blair during the late hours of Thursday night. The National Center for Seismology reported the occurrence at 2:56 am, with the epicenter located at a depth of 10 km. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of injuries or significant damages.
