Indonesia temporarily blocked tech giant Elon Musk’s Grok chatbot on Saturday due to the risk of AI-generated pornographic content, according to news agency ANI, which cited Reuters.

The move reportedly comes after governments and regulators from Europe to Asia have condemned and some have opened inquiries into sexualised content on the app.
On Thursday, X AI stated that it was restricting image generation and editing to paying subscribers in an attempt to fix safeguard lapses that had allowed sexualized content generation, including depictions of scantily clad children, said a report by NBC.
