Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra Latest News Updates- The Chardham Yatra has been postponed for a day due to persistent heavy rainfall and increased risk of landslides in the region. Authorities have taken this precautionary measure to ensure the safety of pilgrims and prevent any damage to lafe and property.

Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey confirmed that district administrations in the affected areas have been put on high alert, while relief and rescue teams have been deployed to respond to any emergency situation.

The decision regarding the resumption of the Yatra will be taken only after a thorough review of weather conditions and road safety tomorrow said Pandey-

Devotees have been urged not to proceed toward the pilgrimage sites until further notice. Officials have also requested the public to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the administration for their own safety.

The state is currently witnessing continuous rainfall, raising concerns about possible landslides and road blockages along the yatra route Authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
