Non-Hindus to Be Banned in Uttarakhand Temples: In a significant religious development in Uttarakhand, the Chairman of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temples Committee, Hemant Dwivedi, said on Monday that plans are underway to prohibit the entry of non-Hindus into the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples.
Hemant Dwivedi, in a post on X originally written in Hindi, stated that preparations are being made to bring a proposal to the upcoming board meeting of the BKTC and have it passed soon.
“From Kedarkhand to Mansakhand, the chain of temples constructed has traditionally prohibited the entry of non-Hindus, but this tradition was violated during the tenures of previous non-BJP governments,” he claimed.
