The incident happened at Nabha gives a strong message to those who spend hefty money in marriages. A couple at Nabha just spent only Rs 11 to tie the knot. The love story of Jahid Ali and Nabizada Farista started at Delhi airport when they met each other.

Jahid Ali was coming back to India from UK and he met Nabizada Farista at IGI Airport. They fell in love with each other and soon the relationship turned into marriage. Interestingly, Farista hails from Afghanistan.

Nobody could stop them as love knows no boundaries and no barriers. Jahid didn’t spend every a single penny and drove his motorcycle to marry Farista. Both, came to their place back after marriage on a motorcycle.

Parents of Jahid spend Rs 11 on the marriage and they gave the money to Junaid’s bride. Jahid said that he is happy as he always wanted to marry in a simple style. He said, “I have seen people spending money lavishly. But, I always wanted that I won’t waste money on marriage. Charity begins at home so I married in a simple style.”

A poor differently-abled family in Noida had organised the wedding of their daughter by serving tea to the guests and offering only Rs 11 to the bridegroom as their blessings, setting examples for others.

Mahavir Singh and his wife Gyano, residents of Nattoki Madiya village in Greater Noida, organised the simple wedding of their daughter Sanju in Noida on Sunday night.

Mahavir and his wife, both of whom are differently-abled, were tensed after the demonetisation move by the government, as there was no cash for the wedding ceremony.

But their prospective son-in-law Yogesh, resident of Safedapura in Aligarh and a driver by profession, relieved their tensions by expressing his willingness for a simple wedding ceremony attended only by selected guests.

Only tea was served at the marriage function. Bridegroom and bride exchanged garlands and got married.
