Vikas Barala’s Bail Plea Rejected

Vikas Barala, son of Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala and the accused in the high profile Chandigarh stalking case has been denied bail. A Chandigarh district court dismissed his bail plea on Tuesday afternoon.

Barala and his friend were accused of stalking and wrongfully detaining Varnika Kundu, the daughter of an IAS officer. The Chandigarh police came under criticism over reports that Barala had been arrested and immediately released on bail.
