Veteran journalist Hukam Chand Sharma is no more

Bathinda based Veteran Journalist Hukam Chand Sharma ( 69 ) is no more . He was under treatment in DMC Ludhiana after he suffered paralytic attack last week . The cremation will take place at 2 pm on June 21, 2017 at Ram Bagh , Paras Ram Nagar Bathinda. He is survived by two sons and a daughter

Tirchhi Nazar Media and Babushahi.com team condoled the demise of Mr Sharma. Meanwhile ,Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Bureau Chief of Ajit based at Bathinda Mr. Hukam Chand Sharma .

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Mr. Sharma as 'a true professional committed to the ethics of journalism besides a fine human being with the qualities of head and heart'. In the death of Mr. Sharma, the journalistic fraternity has been bereft of a well experienced and a true votary of freedom of press, who would be ever remembered by one and all for his fearless reporting and outstanding services in the field of journalism.

Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give courage to them to bear this huge loss in this hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
