Two booked for raping minor

Ropar: Two youths have been booked for raping a 17-year-old girl at Nurpur Bedi near here on Sunday.

The accused have been identified as Davinder Singh and Madan, alias Maddi, of Hayatpur village. The police said the victim was standing near a seva kendra when the duo forcibly took her to a desolated place on a motorcycle and raped her.

Nurpur Bedi SHO Kulvir Singh Kang said a case has been registered against the duo and they are doing the further investigaion.
