The deceased have been identified as Jagmeet Pal Singh (40), his wife Jasmeet Kaur (38) and son Jashandeep Singh (18). Their daughter Bishman Kaur (15) is injured and under treatment at DMC Hospital, Ludhiana.The police have registered a case under Section 307 of the IPC on the statement of the deceased businessman’s mother.
Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana RN Dhoke told babushahi.com that the matter was being investigated. No motive behind the triple murder has yet been established.The deceased businessman Jagmeet Pal Singh lived on the first floor of their house number 55-B, Model Town Extension and his mother on the ground floor.The incident came to light after the family’s driver reached home in the morning but found the door locked from inside.
